Atkins
Now I know this isn’t the best breakfast but sometimes I need something quick and easy. I’m trying to cut back a little carb wise. Maybe stay under 50 for a while.
Atkins
Tomorrow morning we have a dentist appointment so I’ll most likely have an Atkins chocolate shake. I don’t like to eat before a dentist or orthodontist appointment.

I’ve got a mini stock of Atkins shakes and bars. I go through phases where I get into my baking goody mood and other times I don’t want to get my ingredients out and prefer to grab an Atkins snack.

Although the Atkins ‘diet’ is about eating whole foods I do appreciate the grab and go bars, shakes, and frozen meals. Sometimes life just gets busy and they come in handy.

  1. I just restarted a controlled carb lifestyle. I am not following Atkins exactly, as I am eating fruit, but I have cut out bread, pasta, potatoes, flour and most sugars. I am no longer doing chemical sweeteners either.

  2. Hi, Mary, good for you with cutting out a lot of processed foods. That alone is huge.

I go through phases sometimes I follow Atkins to a 'T' and some days I see that I'm not. I try.

    Blessings,
    Linda<><
