Another Fun Box Day!

Annette has been on pins and needles waiting for College Prep Genius to arrive. We have been blessed to review The Comprehensive SAT Prep Collection-SAT Course!

I’m pretty excited about this too. I can’t wait for us to get started on this one. I am really looking forward to reading the Vocabcafe Series.

Another item that arrived was Elementary Anatomy: Nervous & Respiratory Systems Teacher Guide. This was on backorder from Christian Books.

Master Books
I can’t wait to get started with using Master Books!

Another set of books for Annette: The Discovery of Deduction.

This is not part of her Heart of Dakota program, so we’ll see how she schedules it in. One thing I don’t like about HOD in the high school years, is it’s a pretty full program which makes it hard to add what the student is interested in. But other than that we LOVE Heart of Dakota.

And the last item that arrived today didn’t come snail mail but email. It was Grammar Workbook from Brookdale House. This is a review item that I will use with Caleb and Ethan (Brent, once he gets back home from CA).

So that was another fun Box Day at Homeschooling6! Now we’ll have to start using our goodies and I need to start blogging about them so y’all can get a feel for them. Hopefully next week I’ll get back to blogging our days.

Something fun we did today was play Wonky: The Crazy Cube Game. I wish I would have taken a picture! We were able to stack 6 wonky cubes today. Tomorrow we’ll play again and I’ll try to remember to take a picture.

On the school front we’ve been completing our Home School in the Woods Stops.

Our lapbook is coming along. We just finished Stop 15. I’m really hoping to finish this up in the next few weeks. I’m anxious to start the Old Testament Activity-Pak.
