My husband is so sweet. Yesterday was a bit hectic. I had texted my hubby, “Boys are so hard to homeschool”, when he arrived home from work, earlier than usual too, he surprised me with this.
When I sat at the dinner table I was surprised to see my sugar free lemonade in a pretty glass.
How thoughtful of my hubby to stop at Chick-fil-A and bring home my favorite lemonade. Thank you Dear!
I still don’t know where the glass came from, what a sweet hubby I have.
Here’s some of the pictures that didn’t make it into my giveaway post!
I have a lot of fun taking pictures of these books because they are so pretty!
I took about 50 pictures for the giveaway post!
They are absolutely gorgeous.
He’s so handsome! Ethan wanted one with him turning the pages. What a great idea too!
I found Lance’s space. I meant to blog about how he loves to create things with Legos.
This pictures shows his favorite blanket, school, and his LEGO creations.
I look horrible in this picture but it’s a memory. Joshua brought me home a coffee.
It’s a Café Misto. I have a hard time getting a regular coffee just right at Starbucks.
When I don’t want a fancy coffee I’ll ask for a tall pour over coffee served in a grande cup with some steamed cream. I always show them how much cream (75% coffee 25% cream) It’s never just right, not like Miss Tara makes it at the Starbucks down the street.
My coffee is usually too strong or lukewarm or too hot. So I’ve finally stopped ordering just a coffee with cream.
Now I always order a sugar free ice tea or a sugar free mocha. A few days ago I was telling Joshua about my coffee dilemma and he suggested the Café Misto. I didn’t even know what a café misto was. He said it’s half coffee and half steamed milk. He brought me one home the next day, perfect!
Now that’s exactly what I wanted, I just didn’t know how to order it, well I did but the Starbucks people just didn't understand (except Miss. Tara of course).
Tonight when I go out on a date with my Sweets I’m going to order the Café Misto but swap the milk for half and half. Perrrrrfect!
Shoebox time! This time we read an article on what makes a great gift and not so great gift. This really helped us to find things that the children and their family can really use. I had never thought that a cute stuffed tiger is not so cute when they are close enough to eat you.
We packed marbles, flashlights, batteries, pencils, pens, pencil sharpener, candy that I didn’t approve of, and a soccer ball with a pump.
A calculator, markers, shirts with no words, ruler, and a notepad. Hopefully we did better than last year.
And I’d love to post more random pictures but I have to get to work on my house and I need to finish a review for the Crew too!
Have a great weekend and don’t forget to enter my giveaway. I’m giving away 4 items from The Thinking Tree.
If you live right, chances are your children will too. But teach them everything. What you don't teach them someone else will-and you might not like those lessons.-The Delany Sisters
