Review & Giveaway!!! (giveaway ended)

Read my Review
I haven’t had a giveaway on my blog in years!!! I’ve been offered products to have giveaways but I just haven’t had an interest. Until now!
Sarah has been so gracious with allowing my family to review and use her amazing journals. I thought I’d pass some journal blessings to y’all as well.

Here’s what I’ll be sending one blessed winner.

One of Sarah’s newest books is a purse size book: How To Homeschool – A Purse-Sized Guide to Getting Started.
Review and Giveaway at Homeschooling6
This book is not just for first time mommy homeschoolers either! I have been homeschooling for 12+ years and found this little treasure a blessing. Sarah hits on 5 keys to learning, remembering, & applying knowledge (she was homeschooled herself from age 13+):

1. Spark of Curiosity
2. Quest for Knowledge
3. Emotion of Discover
4. Spontaneous Sharing
5. Creation of Something New

It’s a fast easy but very insightful read. There are coloring pages, Notes pages, and a place to write your ideas.
The Thinking Tree
Keep it in your purse for days when you’re at an appointment and need to de-stress with some coloring and an encouraging read.

This book is not only for mama but a teenage girl by the name of Annette. The author Sarah was so kind to send two How to Homeschool books. Well, Annette saw them and took one (after asking of course). She liked the questions being asked and wanted to write her goals and such in the book. How could I say no to that!

The next item in this giveaway is a real gem, I was thrilled when Sarah sent it to me.
I’ll admit I didn’t want to let it go at first but after thinking about it I decided that I have been so blessed that I need to bless someone else.

A great teaching moment too! I want the children to think of others first and they learn by example, so I’m super happy to add this to the giveaway!
The Thinking Tree
A Tiny Treasury of Favorite Things to Color When You are Feeling Bad. You don’t have to be feeling bad to color in it, it’s filled with cute cozy pictures just waiting for someone to add color to them.

This too is a purse sized book, totally adorable I might add!
The Thinknig Tree
You can pull this beauty out when waiting in lines or if you need a relaxing mom time. Grab your java, tea, or hot chocolate, some color pencils and relax. You can add verses, prayers, and your own doodles too.
The Thinknig Tree
The Thinking Tree has all kinds of neat books for the creative (or uncreative - looking to be creative) kids (and adults too!).

This next book that I’ll send to the blessed winner is a DIY book. Sarah has many of these to choose from. We were excited to receive The Book of Useless Information which Annette is having fun using and Make Your Own Field Trip Journal!

When the kids heard I was adding this to the Giveaway - they were a bit shocked at first but I told them that Ms. Sarah has been so kind to us with allowing me to review many of her journals that we should bless someone else.
The Thinknig Tree
Besides we can buy another one later and pick a few more out.

These DIY books are great because your child creates his or her own book. My daughter is using the Useless Information one, and she’s retaining much more because she’s drawing, writing, and labeling things (review coming soon) in her book.

The pages are empty so your child can fill them up.
The Thinknig Tree
Some pages have boxes, lines, or both boxes and lines. Below is a page Annette completed in her book.
The Thinknig Tree
The next item I’m giving away is  Do-It-Yourself homeschool Journal & Eclectic Learning Handbook. Ethan thought the cover was really neat. It can be used for both a boy or girl. This is one of the newer 60 Day plans.
The Thinknig Tree
Your child completes between 5-6 pages a day using library books to complete the activities.
Do-it-Yourself Homeschool Journal
This journal will take about 2 hours to complete which gives you plenty of wiggle room to add in a more formal program or go outside and explore. These journals are so flexible.
Do-it-Yourself Homeschool Journal
You can save them for a rainy day, have a fun-Friday school day, use it a few times a week - put the regular school books away and use the journals for those days instead, or maybe you want to use the journal for history and science learning - the possibilities are endless. Be creative and have fun!
Do-it-Yourself Homeschool Journal
Here is Ethan showing off the pages of this wonderful book!
Do-it-Yourself Homeschool Journal
I’m having an old fashioned giveaway where you just comment and I’ll put all the names in a bowl, basket, or hat (remember that's how we did it back-in-the days).

To enter, simply leave a comment below. If you don’t have a blog where I can contact you please leave your name and email address: homeschooling6(at)hotmail(dot)com so no spammers will grab your email.

FYI: Comments won't show up right away because they need to be approved first (because of spammers).

EDITED: If Blogger does not cooperate with letting you comment please visit my FB page, this giveaway will be pinned so it's at the top. If you leave a comment on the pinned - giveaway post that will work as an entry as well, thank you!!!

Although it’s not required I’d love it if you would visit my Homeschooling6 Facebook page. You don’t have to ‘like’ it or anything but that would be super if you did. And you can visit Sarah’s FB page too, she’s been having lots of giveaways over there!

Just in case you’d like to be friends on Twitter & Pinterest too =) but again, you don’t have to do all that.

Laceylove was the winner, thank you all for entering my first giveaway in years! If you didn't win stay tuned for another giveaway in a month or so.

Review ends Friday - November 13th. I’m sorry, this giveaway is for U.S. Residents only.
