Coffee Time Journal

I have been loving my new journal. The Thinking Tree made a journal with a coffee/tea theme and I absolutely love it!

The pages throughout this journal reminds me of cozy, snugly, warm, fuzzy, teddy bears and pretty things like, comforters, tea cups, yummy things to eat like pastries, and of course coffee.

It’s the same concept as the other mommy journals but this one encourages mom to make a quiet time basket.

Put some comforting things in you basket like your favorite Bible, a candle, books you’ve been interested in but haven’t had time to read, and of course some chocolate! Yum, gotta have chocolate!

Grab a big cuppa java or a small cup of tea, your Bible, pens and markers, and enjoy some mommy time!

Here I used some Crayola Pip Squeak markers. When using markers like these they do bleed a little but I’m okay with that happening.

Here’s a picture of the back, so if you don’t like anything showing up on the other side of the page, don’t use markers.

On the page above I used gel pens and to color in the items on the bottom I used markers.

Here’s the back of page.

For the recipe and meal plan pages I decided to make a spiritual or Bible meal plan.

I thought this week I’ll mediate on these verses and pray kindness scripture over my kiddos.

In this journal I plan to use the recipe and meal plan pages as scripture prayer pages.

I was completing some Dyslexia Games pages and decided to put them in my journal.

I used my Stampin Up watercolor pencils that I purchased years ago (like when I was still having babies!).

Just because all of Sarah’s journals are so gorgeous!

Also, I love the idea of using the Meal Plan and Recipe pages as scripture prayer pages! Totally stealing this idea! :-) I think I'm going to order this for my mom for Christmas, because she loves coffee and coloring!!

    1. Oh, goody, thanks for the giveaway!!!

I think she'll love it! I was so excited when this one came out. With the Meal plan pages that I made into scripture pages I look up all the verses, read them, insert my kids names, and turn them into a prayer.

I'm also working on memorizing some of them.

  3. I have the busy mom's journal. It's the one with the horse on it, so it would be the same as my daughter's. I bought a roller with correction tape to 'white out' any page titles that didn't suit me. I love it too!

    1. Are you asking if the Busy Mom's Journal with the horse on it will be the same as the Do-it-Yourself Homeschooling Journal with the horse on the cover for your daughter? If so, they are different.

All the Mommy Journals are different from the student journals.
