Homeschooling Using The Thinking Tree

Right now it’s only Lance home. Joshua is at work, he works till eight tonight. The rest of my kiddos went to the library. I do hope they get ALL their work done.
Here is what Lance is doing today.
The Thinking Tree
He is currently reading four books but today I assigned three (aff. links).
  1. Picnic at Black Rock: this is a Hooked on Phonics book that was gifted to me a few years ago.
  2. Christian Liberty Nature Reader Book 3
  3. Five True Dog Stories (I got this book when Joshua started homeschooling from Sonlight, awe, the memories).
  4. Dry Bones
The Thinking Tree
He is working his way through his second journal. Yay, I’m excited for him. The first journal he completed was (aff) The Hyper-Active journal.
Lance also completed one page from (aff) Word Hunt 2 and 2 pages from (aff)  Art & Animals from Dyslexia Games.
Here are some of the pages from (aff) Do-It-Yourself Homeschooling Journal: Eclectic Learning Handbook.
The Thinking Tree
Lance accidentally ripped his page so he taped it back together.
The Thinking Tree
I would have loved to color this page of books!
The Thinking Tree
Copywork from the book (aff): The Secret Pet.
The Thinking Tree
Lance also completed a CTC Math lesson.

  1. Yay!! for completing one journal and moving on to the next! I'm really hoping to add these into our days, but need to be creative to still keep our days manageable ...right now much of what we are using is working good, so I love that my girls are using theirs on their own time -- I'm letting them skip around and keep the love of them alive for a better plan next school year.

    1. How fun! I think I have Brent's next journal lined up. I can't wait for him to get started. I think I'll write about it next Thursday :)
