Basically, like with the student journals, start with the cover you like. The inside of each journals are pretty similar with the exception of the Coffee Time Journal.

The Homeschooling Handbook For Moms and The Busy Mom's Homeschooling Handbook are exactly the same inside. There's a cute little owl theme in the two below.

Teaching by example is what these mom journals are all about.

We mamas want to be a good example to our kids. When they see mom digging into her books and using her journal, they'll want to do the same too.

Coloring has a way of bringing stress levels down for both mom (and kiddos). If you're having a busy and beautifully-blessed chaotic day, pull out your mama journal, sip on something warm, and enjoy coloring, planning, and organizing.

Mom's 1st Year of Homeschooling Handbook has a cozy-fireplace-comfort foods type theme. At least that's what I think when looking through this book.

The candles remind me of days gone by of living in a log cabin. That's the coziness of this book.

The Thinking Tree Mom Journals
The next journal isn't in the picture above because I have this one on pdf. You can purchase the Mom's Homeschooling Handbook directly from The Thinking Tree or as a physical book on Amazon.
This one has a cute little kitty theme throughout.

And my favorite mommy journal the Coffee Time - Quiet Time Journal.
This one has a coffee/tea theme. It's cozy - fun - and full of yummies too! It has some pages that are similar to the other mommy journals but many are different as well.

Recipe and Meal Plan pages don't have to be ordinary - make them extraordinary by adding scripture!
With my Coffee Time Journal I've decided to make scripture meals with the two pages above.

I wrote a review of the Homeschooling Handbook for Moms and you can also see more pictures HERE (scroll down to see more post and pics of these journals)

You don't have to be a mama to enjoy these beautiful handbooks. The only handbook that doesn't have mom or homeschooling on it  is Coffee Time journal.

There is a Teen Girl's Journal and I'll write about that soon.
My friend Megan wrote a review that you can read at My Full Heart.

I hope this post is helpful to you all with figuring out which Mommy Journal to start with. If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment or use the Contact Form on my blog.

This post is more of a peek inside than a review but I'm going to add a disclaimer just in case!

  1. These look so fun! I have been feeling a bit envious of the kids and their gel pens. I think it might be time to order a journal for myself.
