Thinking Tree Giveaway at Homeschooling6

I have been blogging a lot about The Thinking Tree because they are just so different. I haven't seen anything like Sarah's journals in the 14 years I've been homeschooling my children. These are something I would have loved for Josh and Annette to use when they were younger.

Not only does The Thinking Tree offer journals for kids but moms too. We moms need to teach by example. Let our children see us do "school" we call it Mom School. Teaching by example is a way for us to meet our kids where they are at and color, doodle, write notes, and just do some of their work in their books. Imagine that! Mom doing school - their school and having fun!
And to make it official we need our journals too! It makes it so much more fun. Open your Mom's Fun-Schooling Handbook and invite your child to color and/or write in your journal. Open your Mom School journal and sit next to them. Do your spelling and geography while they are doing theirs.

Schooling is much more fun when mom is near. If you can't sit with your child during the day, then complete some of your school at night. The next morning you can excitedly show your children what you did in your journal. Then ask them to show you theirs!

I blogged about the Mom's Fun-Schooling Handbook and the Mom School journal. You can read all about these two awesome journals by The Thinking Tree.

This giveaway is open to U.S. residence only and will end Midnight of May 14, 2016. Both journals will be mailed via media mail.
a Rafflecopter giveaway

  1. I would love to win any of the mom books. I would use them if I had them, but wouldn't buy them for myself. I would rather put the money toward my kids.

    1. If you could choose any Thinking Tree book which would it be? =)

I believe investing in oneself is investing in her children. Taking time to read a book and sip on a hot cup of tea or coffee, coloring is great because it's so relaxing, I think children need to see us moms do those kind of things.

Have you read this post? It has Sarah explaining mom time - me time. She explains it so beautifully :) http://training6hearts4him.blogspot.com/2016/03/the-thinking-tree-thursday-mom-time-me.html

    2. For me, I would probably pick the Coffee Time book. I know how important mom time is, as well as quiet time, it's just so easy to let them slide.

  3. I'm not sure which one I'd prefer to win over the other. Maybe Mom's Fun Schooling Handbook, but either one would be wonderful as I have neither one.

  10. If I could have any book, I'd waffle between the Busy Mom's Homeschool Handbook, and the Coffee Time book. I'd probably never buy one myself, just not in my budget.
