Valentines Day

On Valentines Day, we did some schooling. Josh and Annette did their Rod and Staff Reading, did some copywork and that was about it.

I baked some cookies for the kids to decorate with frosting and sprinkles. Their cousins invited us to have a card exchange. They had a lot of fun passing out their Valentines day card The children made a envelope and decorated it with stickers to put their goodies in.

We had a "snack lunch" cheese & crackers, peanut butter and jelly crackers and some sliced apples. The kids had a lot of cookies and candy so a snack lunch seemed the way to go.

The kids then brushed their teeth, drank some water and took a nap. While they napped I got ready to go to the spa. My dh sent me off for a relaxing bath and massage. It felt so good. I was served champagne, chocolate strawberries and Hershey kisses. They also had cucumber water which was very tasty. (and yes I only had one glass of campaign) I was so tired when I got home. All I wanted to do was nap, but instead we got the kids ready and went out to dinner at the Golden Corral (I think that was the name) It reminded me of Hometown Buffet in Ca. The kids had a great time and they said it was the Best Valentines EVER!

By the time we got home it was 8:30pm and we put the kids to bed.

It was a fun day!

Thank you Lord for a wonderful Valentines Day. I am so Blessed with a great hubby and six beautiful children.

Blessings,
Linda<><
