Our Saturday (Ethan & Family)

It is raining today. I love the rain. My husband had to go to work today, but before he left we played a game that I just bought, called Blokus. It was a lot of fun. My hubby uses his left side of the brain more, so he won;) here is a link so you can see what the game is all about http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/product?item_no=342995

Today we did chapter 18 of Story of the World, The Ages of the Crusades. I would love for us to get some Science in too. Maybe after their naps

My kiddos and I all got our blankets and watched Loves Long Journey. They really like movies like that. They love watching Little House too. The movie did have one shooting scene. Nothing major, I believe the guy accepted Christ (at least that's what I think happened)

After we ate lunch. We had grilled cheese sandwiches and chili beans with turkey. The kids love chili beans. And yes my chili beans are from a can I am not that great of a cook. The kids wanted some hot chocolate, so I made some and we put lots of marshmallows in it. The hot chocolate I did make ;) It was a special occasion with the rain and all, so we didn't use the packets. (okay we were out of the packets)

Ethan and Lance kept me pretty busy. I found Ethan with the vitamins today. They were calcium ones that look like teddy bears and taste like candy. He uses the chairs to get up high. I pray daily that God will help me keep an eye on him, because he is constantly getting into things. Once he opened up a bottle of medicine and was drinking it. Again it was children's medicine that taste good. I don't know how he sniffs everything out. Yesterday he was playing outside and climbed on a chair, I heard him screaming, he had his finger caught in the BBQ grill. How he managed that, I don't know. Lance is following in his brothers footsteps. He is already jumping off everything and climbing.

Blessings,

Linda<><
