Had a Great Week

Today was a very nice day. We got some schooling done. Finished our 3rd Rod & Staff Lesson and Science. We read some more of Good Queen Bess. I got some cleaning and laundry done The kids helped me make some Rice Krispy treats, and Josh help make dinner. My 1 & 2 yr olds were quiet today. They are usually jumping from something.

Annette and I put together a puzzle. Then I did one with Josh. This whole week has been like that. Even though I have been busy with our everyday things the week seemed more relaxed.

I think God has been teaching me to just relax, to stop trying to do it all. Lay it all down at his feet. Sometimes it is hard to give it to the Lord, even when I know it's best. I am so thankful that my God cares so much about me that he wants me to give it to him. He will take care of me. Trust in the Lord with your heart and lean not on our own understanding it says in Proverbs 3:5 I need to trust that God will take care of all my needs. Joshua 1:9 " Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid nor dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Sometimes I am afraid that I'm not teaching my kids right or that their not leaning, or maybe I'm not suppose to be doing this, but then I seek God and He comforts me and I know that He is with me on my homeschooling journey. Psalms 48:14 "For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide Even to death." How my Lord, my God loves me. He is with me.

Now I know, not all my weeks will be this great, because it was a good week! But I do know that my God will be with me through through the ups and downs of life!

Oh and one more thing. Today Josh, Annette and I made it a positive day. This morning we talked about how we are going to be more positive, when something goes wrong or we have a mean thought that we are going to change it and think good thoughts, positive thoughts.
