My MSG Dinner

I try to stay away from Campbells soup. We are trying our best to stay away from MSG.

The weekend that four brackets broke I couldn't eat much of anything. Lupe, bought me lots of soup and yogurt. There are still a few cans in the pantry, so I thought I would use one for a quick dinner. I also had some broccoli that was going to go bad soon.

I took a family size can of Cream of Chicken soup and made: Campbell's Chicken Broccoli Divan. Prep time 10 minutes. Cook time 45 min. Serves 8.

8 cups fresh or frozen broccoli flowerets
8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 (26oz) can Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup
1 1/4 cups milk
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup bread crumbs (I used Italian bread crumbs it's all I had on hand)
2TBS melted butter

Place broccoli in 4qt shallow baking dish (I used my cake pans, all I have right now). Top with chicken.

Mix soup and milk. Pour over chicken. Sprinkle with cheese and bread crumbs mixed with butter over top (I just patted butter here and there).

Bake at 350 degrees. 45 min. or until chicken is done.

Before I put it in the oven. As you can see we don't have much counter space.

45 minutes later.

Everyone but Ethan, liked it.

Our salad or as Annette, put it "Please pass the bowl of lettuce."
