Reading the Bible in 90 Days

This is day one of the 90 Day Challenge.
(Sorry, don't know how to link the button to the website)
MomsToolBox is hosting this.

I'm embarressed to write that I have never read the Bible from cover-to-cover, so I'm really excited about this challenge.

Our first post we are to introduce ourselves, so here it goes.

I'm Linda, married 13yrs. to my wonderful husband Lupe. We have six little hearts to train (well, some are medium now) our oldest child Josh born in 98, Annette 99, Caleb 00, Brent 01, Ethan 03 and Lance 04.

When I was a little girl I wanted to grow-up to be a wife and mama. I love being married to Lupe. He is a wonderful godly husband. He takes care of us. I love how he plays with the children. He will stop what he is doing to answer their question or hammer a nail when they need help with a project they are working on.

I accepted Christ  when I was 13yrs. old. In High School I was known as the good Christian girl. I was much more bold back then and passed out tracts. I try to live my life for the glory of God knowing people are watching me. When I was younger my friends thought I was Miss Perfect because I didn't do what everyone else did. It was hard at times because being a follower of Christ was who I was and I wasn't perfect. I messed up so many times.

We are from California but are now Texans. We love it here. The summers are hot but other than that it's great.

We are a homeschooling family.

Hmmm......my favorite colors are baby pink, baby blue and coffee brown. I love reading. I enjoy researching different curriculums (maybe a little too much) and I love a hot cup of coffee in the morning (decaf).  I walk barefoot around the house and just love being home with my children (most days)

Looking forward to my 90 Day Challenge. I have my handy-dandy 90 Day Bible and have read my 12 pages.

So, that's a little about me.

Thank you Jesus for this 90 Day Challenge. I pray for a closer walk with my Lord.
In Christ,

  5. Don't even be embarrassed to write that you have never read the bible cover to cover! That's not allowed, okay, now I have done my Mama hen deed for the day. Nice to meet you! And I'll be praying for you throughout the challenge. (And by the way, I've never read it cover to cover either)

I love hearing from you all!
