Binder

Filing wasn't the only thing I did yesterday while Lupe and the two kids where out at the Cowboys game. I took the time to label all the children's pencils, glue sticks, glue, pencil boxes, markers and crayons. It took a while but I finished.
When we went to the community back-to-school event we were blessed with lots of pencils. Each child has a bundle of their own. I labeled all their pencils. I told them that this year I don't want to hear, "I can't find a pencil." They have absolutely no excuse to come to the table without a pencil this coming year. I also mentioned to them that if they need a pencil from me (which shouldn't happen considering they have about 10 pencils each with their name on them) they will have to pay me twenty-five cents.
I'm so thankful to the Lord that we are getting really organized this year. It feels so good to know that each child has everything they need to start the school year off.

Ethan's pencil box.

This is the first time I bought a binder that cost more than $3.50. I purchased this from Amazon with free shipping for a little over $12.00.

I like that it has a strap and a place to put a big textbook.
I got him a pencil holder too.

The other side of the pencil bag and inside the binder.

I labeled the tabs by weekday. We'll see if it works out that way.

And that's it for today. I am finishing taking apart McRuffy Science K workbook and the test keys came in for Bob Jones Math 4.

The only thing I'm waiting for now is McRuffy Science 2. Hoping we can  fit it in.
