Accountable Kids Keeps Mom Accountable

Training 6 Hearts for Him is not always easy. Lately I have been slacking on our chores. I have tried many different kinds of chore ideas (packs, list, index cards etc.) and nothing seems to work. I never follow through. My oldest son Josh gets a bit upset about this. This year we are trying something new. I finally forked out the big $$$ for Accountable Kids. I have looked at it in the past but it's a bit pricey.
Josh, really didn't want to use Accountable Kids at first. I thought that he thought, he was too old for it. I really wanted him to have one because he does forget to do some of his daily chores. I sat down and talked to him about it, come to find out, it's my inconsistency he doesn't like. I start something and we don't continue. He's tired of ME not following through with our chores. So, I told him, this time I will because Accountable Kids is not cheap ;) I guess sometimes for me I have to spend a mini fortune to be consistent (blushing here).
I plan to write a full review later, but did want to mention that we have been using it for three weeks and the children love it (even Josh).

  1. You're not alone. That's the problem with chores here....my inconsistency! I'd love to read your review, when you're done writing it. Should I start saving now? :)
