Ethan

See this peaceful, cute face?
Notice he's sleeping in my bed on my side.
Last night Ethan, kept me up till the wee hours of the night. His legs were hurting. I rubbed them with massage oil and sang to him. At 4:00 a.m. he looked like he was getting tired. I'd sing and he would almost fall asleep. I decided to try some Cortizone. Not thinking it would really help but he might think so and make his mind think so too.
 {I can't believe I didn't have any Motrin.}
By the time I got back, my little one was fast asleep. There was no way I was going to move him, so I decided to sleep on the couch.

Brent, was on the long couch. For some reason I didn't think to put Brent, on the smaller couch. Here I am scrunched on the little couch. I was in a light sleep when I felt someone was starting at me. I opened my eyes and there was someone standing over and bending down looking at my face as if the person was trying to figure out who I was. I am surprised I didn't scream. I wasn't startled either.
At first I thought it was Lupe, trying to see if it was me on the couch. It took a minute for me to realize it was my niece. She was spending the night and sleep walking.
After she was done staring at me, she went to the couch that Brent, was sleeping on and did the same thing. Eventually she left. I was too tired to get out of bed but did listen to make sure she didn't leave the house. When I heard her talking in Annette's room I knew she was safe and I fell sleep.
When I woke about 7 or 8 I went to my bed, only to find two little ones now occupied my side. I moved them over and tried to get another hour of shut eye.

Tonight on the way home from our date, Lupe and I bought some pain reliever, just in case.

  1. Yikes, what an ordeal. We had thunderstorms last night, and I was up the whole time thinking one or both of my girls would wake and come looking for me. Neither did; instead I was just me awake in the storm!
