Week 28

Week 28. April 4th-8th.

What a whirlwind of a week. I went from having not one child using Teaching Textbooks math to three using it (Ethan, Brent and Josh). That's including ordering and everything. TT shipped Ethan's books on the 4th and they arrived on the 5th. Talk about quick!

Ethan and Lance, are almost 100% better. They didn't get too much school in. They looked so tired this week. Lance, wanted to play outside, so I would let him play quietly on the porch only. He would take his backpack full of toys and play.

Ethan, completed 4 Teaching Textbook lessons, 2 Saxon Math, 4 Saxon Phonics.

Brent, completed lots of Math-Whizz. I guess I should confess. Brent, hasn't had to do Saxon Math because I lost his workbooks. I can't find them anywhere. I've looked in all the crates and bookshelves. They've been missing for over two weeks . He completed 5 pages from his MCP Plaid Phonics and another confession, I CAN'T find his Spelling Workout book either . I put Brent's pages in a notebook and usually put his workbook on the bookshelf, but for the life of me I can't seem to locate it. I've never had school books missing for so long, especially for the same child. Library book. yes. School books, not until now.

Caleb, completed 4 Bob Jones Math lessons, 8 pages from MCP Plaid Phonics and 1 spelling lesson.

Lance, completed half a week of Easy Classical K.

Josh and Annette, completed their stuff too.
I know, not a very good week in review but I'm on the tired side today (I already blogged today too). If you would like to read more about our week (I try to blog daily) please scroll down.
Have a good weekend.

  1. Hi Linda, I think TT is a great idea for your family. You can always use simple workbooks (like Spectrum or anything you have around the house) to fill in anything they need practice on. I don't know how you do it! This week we lost our science pace key. I had to re-read Josh's entire science pace to find the answers to his test. LOL! I finally did find the key. I had actually put it away with older school books that I was checking out during the week. They'll show up...

Looks like the kids are making nice, steady progress! Have a restful weekend!
