Getting Ready for CHRISTmas Dinner

I'm sitting here at the computer getting my list ready for CHRISTmas dinner. My husband is already tasting it.

Our Feast

Turkey. My husband makes the turkey. I love watching him in the kitchen.

Slow Cooker Stuffing, my sister introduced me to this recipe. It's so good and since we don't stuff our turkey anymore, it's perfect.

Mashed Potatoes, I really don't have a recipe for this one. I just cook the potatoes, mash, add either milk, condensed milk or heavy whipping cream and lots of butter, add salt and pepper to taste.

Green Bean Casserole, I would like to find one that doesn't use Campbell's but haven't found one yet. Feel free to share ;)

Cranberry Sauce, this is really good.

Creamy Cranberry Salad, we had this for Thanksgiving at my sister Cynthia's house and it is now a Homeschooling6 favorite!

2 Apple Pies, 2 Pumpkin Pies and 1 Pineapple Upside-down Cake for Jesus.

Every year we make a cake for Jesus but since we have about 6-8 birthday cakes a year, I wanted something different for Jesus birthday, so I started making the Pineapple Upside-down cake to replace the traditional cake.

This Pineapple Upsdie-Down Cake is really good. It is on the sweet side though. I put a little less of the crushed pineapple. I am also going to try the pineapple rings instead of crushed to see if it will make a-not-too sweet cake.

That is what we will enjoy this CHRISTmas.

God Bless,
Linda<><
