Day 157

Today was a Joshy day! I spent some time with him going over math. He was doing so well for a while. He really enjoys Systematic Math and I like it too. One of my complaints about the program is there's not enough review (for my son anyway). I know there are so many free printable, but I don't want to go searching ;) but we will continue to use this program.

Joshua, is really impressed with his current Bible Program, the Judah Bible Curriculum. This is a TOS Crew item. Today he said, "I've learned more in the past couple of weeks, then all year with my current program". Wow, I didn't realize he liked it so much.

Today with Ethan, I didn't get to our Beyond School, but he did practice his cursive, completed a Rod and Staff English lesson, did a Teaching Textbook lesson and copied two pages (about 8 sentences) from a Dr. Seuss book. I was going to have him copy part of a poem from his Rod and Staff English but he preferred Dr. Seuss. He informed me today that he doesn't like copying poems. That's good to know. I'll have him copy some stanzas but will look for passages from his books.

With Caleb and Brent, they did some of their Preparing school, completed their reading log, math, did an All About Spelling lesson and Shurley English. We are almost done with Shurley English, so I'm hoping to stay on track with it.
