Summer School

Summer School has been going well. Like every summer though, we are not doing as much as I had hoped with the schedule I made. What we are doing is lots of Schoolhouse Reviews and it's kept our summer very interesting and fun.

Here is what we've used, will use and continue to use for the rest of our summer school June 2012 ~ August 2012:

  1. enVisionMath~Grade 4 (Ethan)
  1. 7th Grade Lightning Literature (Annette)
  2. Professor B Math (Annette, Ethan and Lance)
  3. Apologia~Who is My Neighbor (All)
  4. Keyboarding for the Christian School (Josh)
  5. Knowledge Quest~MapTrek Hardback book + CD-Rom Set (Caleb & Brent)
  6. HearBuilder Auditory Memory Home Edition (Joshua, Caleb, Brent and Ethan)
  7. Math Essentials (Joshua)
  1. Create Better Writers (Joshua, Annette, Caleb, and Brent)
  2. King Alfred's English (Mom)
  3. Math Made Easy (Lance)
  4. Apologia~I Don't Have Enough Faith To Be An Atheist (mom)
  5. Christian Liberty~Mr. Pipes and the British Hymn Makers PDF (All)
  6. Time4Writing~High School Paragraph Writing (Joshua)
  7. Golden Prairie Press~Heroines of the Past Bible Study (Annette)
  8. The Reading Kingdom (Lance)
  9. Everyday Homemaking Chore System (Molly Crew Review) (All)
  1. Speekee (Brent and Lance)
  2. Marshall Publishing~A Decade of Progress (all)
  3. Family Time Fitness (all)
  4. Homeschool Legacy~Forest for the Trees (all)
I copied and pasted this from my "Schoolhouse Reviews" tab at the top of my blog, that's why there are numbers. I know I haven't been blogging our summer school days like I have in the past. I don't know why but it's been hard for me, I probably should have done some Weekly Wrap-ups instead.

I am enjoying our summer, it's been nice not teaching every, single day. We all need a break now-and-then =)

Here is a bit of my summer school, Bible, Prayer Warrior for Boys, Raising a Daughter After God's Own Heart, Power of a Positive Mom and memorizing scripture.
