Schoolhouse Review: Beeyoutiful

When Beeyotiful products came up for the Schoolhouse Crew to review, I had my eye on some skin care products. I love using natural products on my skin, as you know our skin absorbs what we put on it whether it be good or bad. With Beeyouiful products you don't have to worry about your skin soaking up Mineral Oil or Sodium Laureth Sulfate and other harmful ingredients.

When my package arrived you can be sure this mama felt spoiled to receive:
*4fl ounces of Lavishmint Daily Moisturizing Lotion~$12.00
*4fl ounces of Laveshmint Hydrating Toner~$14.00
*4fl ounces of Hair Shine Spray-in Conditioner~$15.00
*4fl ounce jar of Vanilla Dream Body Butter~$15.00

The first thing I did right after my son Brent so kindly opened the box for me was smell everything. I do that with a lot of stuff including books and pizza crust. I admit I'm a sniffer. The second thing I did was posed all my Beeyoutiful products  and had a mini photo shoot. I'm a picture taker too. I take pictures of everything.
When I finished taking pictures of my delicious smelling Beeyoutiful products I immediately washed my face so I could try the Lavishmint Toner and Daily Moisturizer. I sprayed the toner which regulates your skin's PH balance. Then applied the moisturizer, which I found a little goes a long way. How do I know, well, I had enough for my arms too.

The Lavishmint Toner helps to put the PH balance back in your skin. When you wash your face your PH balance is thrown off. Your face will feel tight and your other skin care products won't work as well. Lavishmint Toner will restore your skin to its natural balance, your skin will feel refreshed and comfortable again, pores will be closed and your other products will work much better and as intended.

The ingredients:Certified organic Aloe Vera, purified water, Lavender Essential Oil, Peppermint Essential Oil.

The Aloe, is what helps restore the PH balance. The Lavishmint Toner has a unique blend of lavender and peppermint essential oils, so you can use it to relieve sunburns and cleanse minor wounds too.

I loved pampering my face with the Lavishmint Daily Moisturizer. This very soothing and great smelling moisturizer hydrates your skin. It smells oh so great too! I sometimes just open the jar to get a whiff of it.

Ingredients:Aqua (distilled water), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe), Vitis Vinifera (Grapseed Oil), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut Oil), Stearic Acid, Emulsifying Wax NF, Vegetable Glycerin USP, Lavender and Peppermint Essential Oils, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Phenoxyethanol and Caprylyl Glycol.

The Lavender and Peppermint oils gives your face a cool and refreshing feeling (and did I say it smells so good), while the Aloe and Coconut oils sooth and nourish the skin. Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate and Phenoxyethanol are preservatives, you can read more about these preservatives on the Beeyoutiful website.
My absolutely most favorite item was the Vanilla Dream Body Butter. I loved the scent of this. It wasn't overwhelming like perfume or some lotions. I usually applied this on my shoulders and neck. My shoulders had those little bumps but since I've been using the Vanilla Dream Body Butter, they have disappeared. I love the mild scent, the children and hubby like it too. I also used this on Ethan's chapped hands and Brent's bumpy knees.

Ingredients: Shea butter, Vanilla infused oils of Coconut, Olive, and Grape Seed, Grapefruit Seed Extract, essential oil of Ylang Ylang, vanilla plantifolia. The underlined ingredients are my favorite. I just can't say enough good things about the Body Butter.

I have to say that the Hair Spray-In Conditioner was the least favorite of mine until I found more uses for it.

This is a leave in hair conditioner. The bottle says to spray on dry hair, so that's how I used it. This is why I didn't like it. I have a lot of thick, curly, frizzy hair. I don't brush my hair when it's dry. I brush it wet with a wide tooth comb. I was using a ton of the Hair Spray-In Conditioner on my dry hair and trying to finger comb it. For those of you who are blessed with curly, thick, hair, you all know what I'm talking about, you can't brush this type of hair because you end up tearing at your hair.

Well come to find out it works just as well if you spray it on wet hair too! So now I'm using on my wet hair to help get those tangles out. I also found out that because Aloe is the primary ingredient it works great on sunburns (just don't spray this on before you you hit the sun because of the Sweet Orange oil). And, you can use this on insect bites!!! Yes, I'm excited about this product now that I know it can lesson the itch on mosquito bites. My poor family was being devoured for lunch and dinner this summer by those pesky Texas mosquitoes.

So this too is a multifunctional product as well, I love when I can get more than one use out of a product. I almost forgot to mention that I used this as an all-over body spritzer.

Ingredients: certified organic Aloe Vera concentrate, distilled water, Sweet Orange Essential Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, Rosemary Essential Oil.

What did I think about these four Beeyoutiful products? I have used Beeyoutiful products in the past and can honestly say they have good quality products, using high standard ingredients.  I am so loving these products as well and plan to get my daughter some for her too (she just turned 13!)

After using the Beeyoutiful products almost daily I still have 2/3 of the Lavishmint Toner. The Lavishmint Moisturizer is still almost completely full after using it for about 6 weeks. The Vanilla Dream Body Butter, I didn't use this every day because I'd forget but it was used a lot and still have at least 75% of it left! Because I was using the Hair Shine on my dry hair, I used a lot. About half the bottle.

I'm so thankful for the opportunity to have reviewed these products. I look forward to using them for years to come and buying them as gifts to pamper my friends and family. In the future I'd like to try the Milk and Honey Facial Bar and add that to my daily facial regimen.
