My Little Hearts

We are taking a few weeks off so my kiddos have been pulling all nighters. And you know what? So has mama a few times. Satuday I stayed up all night with the children. I didn’t get to bed until 6:40 a.m. and I slept until 2:00 p.m. Hubby had to take his sister to the airport at 4:00 a.m. so he didn’t get much sleep as well.

Here is one of my munchkins, not sure which morning this was as they are all becoming a blur.

What cute feet my Brenty has. I love his so much!

Yesterday I stayed up until 3:00 a.m. so I’ve been taking quite a few naps. The children have been sleeping from 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tonight they will be pulling another all nighter. This time Annette is going to join them and I think Josh.

Lance lost a tooth on the 27 of June. On the right side of his mouth next to his front tooth.

His other tooth was loose and has since fell out as well. The one on the left.

Josh picked these veggies from our garden (is a tomato a veggie?)

Joshua adding value to our home. He’s so much like his dad.

Trim Healthy Pancakes

9 out of 10 times this is how my Trim Healthy Pancakes come out. I am going to look for another E recipe. I have tried everything to have normal looking pancakes but to no avail. You are not allowed a lot of fat like butter or coconut oil to grease the griddle. I have tried cooking on low too but most the time they don’t come out very pretty.

The Happy Bunny is not a healthy bunny, sorry! On the back of the plastic bottle is says, “Good for active play. Nesquick when mixed with 1 cup lowfat milk is filled with protein, carbs, and happiness to help build strong bodies and fuel active minds”.

I don’t think so. There is sugar and high fructose sugar as well as dyes. That in my book is not going to build strong minds but hyper active and/or sluggish (maybe even both), low immune systems and if  overly consumed children may grow up with health problems (my opinion of course). Sorry little rabbit, my kids won’t be drinking your pink stuff anytime soon.

Not good active play

Here is a nice Big Man Smoothie. I make it extra thick for the kids and it’s like a soft serve ice cream.

  1. What are you cooking your pancakes on? I use cast iron and as long as the pan is seasoned, I usually do not have much sticking at all. Hmmm..I will think on that for you.

Love your little helper painting. I have walls to paint, but I need a little cooler weather and less back pain.

    Garden goodness....yum!

Oh, that smoothie looks sooooooo good!

I love hearing from you all!
