Menu Aug. 25-31st


This week I’m trying something different. Instead of writing all that I eat as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, I thought I would use bullet points because sometimes I am not recording my coffee and how much cream I put in it or if I take a spoonful of my ‘good for you’ icing that I made for the cake. This way every, single, bit of food is written down for you all to see.

Sunday: 135.0

  • Kefir Coconut Blueberry Smoothie w/1Tbs coconut oil, 1tsp. flax, a little nunaturals
  • Coffee with 3 heaping Tbls. of whipped cream sweetened with Nunaturals
  • 2 scrambled eggs, 1/2 zucchini, 1/4 cup organic salsa and 1 whole avocado
  • Pizza topping from 2 slices

Sunday I wasn’t hungry. I came home from church had  a coffee and about 3:00 made me my scrambled eggs piled with veggies. By dinner time which was around 7:30 I didn’t want to eat too heavy as I was going to bed early around 9:00.

Kefir smoothie was breakfast on the go which usually happens Sunday morning.

Monday: 134.0

  • Coffee with 3 heaping Tbs. of whipped cream and nunaturals
  • 2/3 cup cottage cheese, 1/3 cup black beans, 1/3 cup salsa, shredded greens, shredded chicken breast.
  • 16oz cup of coffee with 3 heaping tsp. of whipped cream and a few shakes of NuNaturals
  • 1 cup 0% Greek yogurt with 1 cup berries
  • In-N-Out Protein Burger with cheese, tomato, grilled onions, and lettuce
  • Swiss water decaffeinated coffee with 3 heaping tsp. of whipped cream and few shakes of NuNaturals.
  • 2tsp of ‘good for you’ icing, so delicious. It was a bit late to do this though (10:00p.m.).

I was excited to see 134.0. Now I don’t expect it to be exactly 134.0 tomorrow but more of 134.8 or even 135.0. Well I over did it with the cream so we’ll see how it goes scale-wise tomorrow.

I did better with eating meat today.

My new favorite mug with coffee and some heavy whipped cream.

Tuesday: 134.2

  • Coffee with 3 heaping tsp of whipped cream (this is leftover from Lance’s birthday)
  • Kefir coconut blueberry smoothie with protein powder, coconut oil, flax, and coconut cream)
  • 1/2 cup 0% Greek yogurt plain w/1/2 cup raspberries, sweetened with NuNaturals
  • 3/4 cup cottage cheese, 1/3 cup black beans, 1/3 cup salsa, shredded greans (I forgot to add some lunch meat).
  • Del Taco Tostada and taco without the shells.
  • Seattle Coffee with Splenda and cream
  • 2 pieces of lean deli meat from Costco.
  • Few scoops of “good for you” icing.

I drank 24oz water with my Calcium w/Magnesium Calm supplement, 34+ ounces of The Shrinker, and water.

Today after eating my cottage cheese and black beans I didn’t feel bloated, so I’m not sure why some days it affects me and others it doesn’t. I do believe that it’s most likely not good for my gut.

My hubby and I took my MIL to the airport. On the way back we stopped at Del Taco.

Wednesday: 133.8

  • Coffee with 2 Tbls. cream and a few shakes of NuNaturals. 1 net carb
  • Greek Yogurt Coconut Blueberry Smoothie w/bee pollen, flax, coconut oil, coconut cream, and some almond milk). I ran out of Kefir. 23 net carbs
  • 1 cup cottage cheese, 2 Tbl. salsa, 3oz turkey meat 10.5 net carbs
  • Coffee with 1 Tbls cream, 1 Tbl half & half, and a few shakes of NuNaturals. 1 net carb
  • 2 scrambled eggs, 1/2 avocado, 1/2 zucchini, 3oz chicken, cooked in coconut oil. 5 net carbs
  • 2 teaspoon (heaping) of good for me icing (it’s so good and I don’t want it to go to waste) 5 net carbs
  • 16oz mug of coffee with 2 Tbls of half and half and a few shakes of Nunaturals. 1 net carb

40oz of The Shrinker, 20 oz of water mixed Calcium/Magnesium Calm, 20oz water.

I normally don’t drink so much coffee but some days I just need another cup. Not that it was a hectic and harried day. I like the cozy feeling. Of course I have to keep the air conditioner on.

Net Carbs: around 43

Thursday: 134.2

  • Coffee with 2 Tbls cream and a few shakes of NuNaturals.
  • Greek Yogurt Coconut Strawberry Smoothie w/flax, coconut cream, bee pollen, coconut oil, and a few shakes of Nunaturals. 23 net carbs
  • 2 slices of Ezekiel bread, 2 slices of turkey meat, 1/4 tomato, 1 lettuce leaf, 1tsp. mayo with mustard. 27 net carbs
  • 16oz mug of coffee with 4 Tbl. Half and Half and sweetened with Nunaturals. 2 Net carbs. I wanted a creamer coffee today so I splurged with the h&h.
  • Atkins Italian-Style Pasta Bake, 2 cups spinach and 1 wedge of laughing cow cheese 9 net carbs
  • My SIL brought me home an iced coffee 16oz with half and half and sweetened with Nunaturals

I didn’t go grocery shopping last Friday and my groceries are dwindling. I was also a bit lazy and wanted so I opted to eat one of my Atkins frozen dinners.

Drank 20 oz of water with Calcium/Magnesium Calm, 1 Zevia with lunch, and water.

About 61 net carbs

Friday: 134.0

  • Coffee with 2 Tbls. cream and sprinkle of nunaturals
  • 2 scrambled eggs, 1/4 zucchini, salt and pepper with 1 wedge of laughing cow cheese
  • 2 scrambled eggs, 1/4 zucchini, laughing cow cheese, 3 oz of turkey meat.
  • Coffee with 2 Tbls cream and nunaturals
  • a few tsp. of frosting.
  • Gangues Grill-Chicken, 3 scrambled eggs, shrimp, and veggies
  • Tall Dolce Latte from Starbucks, sugar free and made with cream

I had 7 eggs in one day, I think that’s a record for me. 

Not sure how many net carbs I ate, maybe 20-25. This was my first day babysitting a cute 3 month old baby. I had him from 9:30-6:30. He was a joy to have.

Drank 20 oz of water with Cal./Mag. Calm,

Saturday: 134.0

  • Coffee with 2Tbls cream and nunaturals. 1 net carbs
  • 1 cup 2% cottage cheese, 1 granny smith apple, 1 handful leafy greens, and a splash of lemon juice. 21 net carbs
  • 16oz coffee with 2 Tbls cream and nunaturals. 1 net carbs
  • 2 scrambled eggs, 1/2 zucchini, 1/2 avocado, 1 laughing cow wedge. 5 net carbs
  • Smoothie-coconut cream, greek yogurt, 1/2 cup blueberries, nunatruals, bee pollen, protein powder. 23 net carbs

51 net carbs

Drank 20oz of shrinker, 20oz of mag. calm drink, water

Sunday: 133.4

Total loss this week: 1.6

I’m experimenting with using cream. It’s a good experiment because I love my coffee.  I want to see if and how it affect my weight. I am happy to see that it hasn’t stalled my weight loss. I’ll try another week of being liberal with my cream (6 tablespoons a day). I really want to switch over to coconut cream eventually.

  2. Thank you Sara. My meals are pretty boring but it works for me. I'd like to experiment more with wraps and bread but haven't made the time.
