Low-Carb Eats

This morning I had an Atkins Oatmeal Bar at 9:00 and sipped my usual cup of coffee with 2TBL Half and half and one packet of Sweet Leaf Stevia. (7 net carbs)

From 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 I’ll sip an Atkins Shake. This keeps me from getting hungry. I pour it over ice. I also have a glass of water available too. In my 16oz cup I add a tablespoon or so of organic, raw, and unfiltered apple cider vinegar, and a packet of Sweet Leaf Stevia. (2 net carbs)

Before lunch I’ll also have a few pieces of Skinny Chocolate, gotta get my coconut oil some how.
For lunch I had another delicious omelet. It was so good. I sautéed in ghee 3/4 cup frozen onion mix, 1 cup mushrooms, 2 scrambled eggs, and 2os of cheddar cheese (10 net carbs). I also had 1 boiled egg.

Around 1:30 P.M. I made me a cup of coffee with half and half and 1 Sweet Leaf Stevia Packet. The baby will be here at 1:45 so I’m trying to get my cup of java and blog for a few.

Dinner was a taco salad with 2 eggs included, not sure how many carbs. I didn’t measure my food. For a snack I had an Atkins bar.

I shouldn’t have had the bar but an hour after supper I felt hungry, I should have just waited. Later while the baby was sleeping and the rest of the family was at church I made another batch of Skinny Chocolate and had some. I was tweaking the recipe and had to sample a few pieces, yeah right, well sort of. I only had two pieces, sigh.

Atkins Bar
I know my mini collection is not so mini anymore but I like to have a variety and to be honest these bars will last at least 5 months if not longer. See the Peanut Butter Cups, I bought those almost a year ago, the chocolate chip in the back, that was purchased the first week of November which was last year.
The Oatmeal bar I have been having for breakfast at least 5 days a week for two weeks. The Mudslide and Triple Chocolate bars they usually last a few months unless I’m baking my own stuff then they’ll last longer. I have two boxes of Triple Chocolate Bar because I had ordered a box and then found them at Target on sale and had a coupon. Couldn't pass up a good Atkins dealEmbarrassed smile.

The shakes last forever usually but lately I've been having one a day to curb my morning hunger.

 I sip an Atkins Shake while teaching the kids. My excuse is I don’t have time to peel a hardboiled egg or munch on celery. I know I need to get back to whole eating and am feeling a little bit guilty for having my grab-and-go foods around.
