Let’s Click 365 Days-Day 32 (Date Night)

Today was Date Night and I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of my delicious food. We went to the Olive Garden and I had the stuffed Chicken Marsala which was 36 net carbs but so good. I really enjoyed that meal.
The kids gave Lupe and I gift certificate for CHRISTmas.

After supper we went to the movies and watched The Lone Survivor. There is a lot of shooting but I’m glad I watched it. It’s a great reminder of what our troops go through and sacrifice for us. The movie left me with a greater appreciation for our men in uniform.

We saw a Half Price Books on our way home so we stopped and I found a few books, actually I found a lot of books but I put most of them back. There were lots of Rod & Staff books. I wanted to snag them all.

I have The Complete Adventures of Peter Rabbit but it’s in storage. I hope to use Language Lessons Through Literature Level 1 with Lance and before each lesson there is a literature selection to be read and Peter Rabbit happens to be one one of the books needed.
I paid only $4.49 for the book, wahoo, score!

I found the three little cardboard books for  $1.00 each. There were three more but I left them behind (unfortunately). I bought these to read to the baby that I watch. If he drools on them I’m okay with it.

Our last stop was Saxby’s Coffee. I love their coffee it’s so good. They have a wide variety of sugar free syrups too. I was going to order the Mounds Latte which is coconut and chocolate but we arrived two minutes too late.

Since the “OPEN” sign was on she did give me a house coffee for free. It was their breakfast coffee and it was very good.

Now we are home and the kids are snug in their beds. Lupe and I need to go to bed soon. Tomorrow is church!

  4. Wow, the Olive Garden! That was sweet of the kids.

Oh how we do miss Half-Price Books. I loved their clearance section.

:) I know the feeling of 'I put most of them back.'
