Homeschooling Days @ Homeschooling6

Now that I have given myself permission to rotate my Ethan and Lance’s school days I have found that I actually get more done with them. Maybe it’s because I don’t have to and therefore I don’t feel so rushed and stressed out about it. I don’t know but hopefully it continues.

Today I completed:
~ Language Lessons Through Literature 1 with Lance, well actually all I did was read half the story of The Tale of Mr. Tod. It was long. I’ll finish reading it tomorrow and complete the lesson.
~Alert Cadet Assignment with Caleb and Brent. We went over the scripture reading of Psalm 139, and talked about what they need to complete this week.
~Philosophy Adventure with Caleb and Brent. We went over the Memory Cards, highlighted a few interesting facts about Thales, and the kids started on their first writing assignment.
~Language Lessons Through Literature 3 with Ethan.
~All About Reading with Ethan, he completed 2 lessons today.~Oral Narration with Annette and Josh
~Biblical Self Image with Annette
~Rod and Staff Spelling 7 with Annette. She only missed one word.

I didn’t get to:
~All About Reading with Lance
~Writing and Rhetoric with Ethan
~Language Arts like grammar and spelling with Caleb and Brent.

Here is a picture of the little guy I watch. It was taken yesterday. Today I have the day off.

Last night I completed writing with Ethan. Sometimes I don’t get it all in by the time I write my post.
Writing Rhetoric
I caught him drinking a cup of Swiss water decaf coffee. With lots of cream and Stevia.
Writing Rhetoric
All About Spelling
My poor guy has to put the tiles in order everyday because we don’t have a magnetic board. It’s good practice though.
Alert Cadet
Reading Psalm 139 with the boys.

  1. I always enjoy reading your days! Glad that you gave yourself permission to rotate the lessons. On the AAS tiles, it may be easier to do it on the table since ours always fell off the whiteboard and made it frustrating.
